ACE understands the importance of determining the correct wire gauge for the job. By determining the right gauge of wire, excessive voltage drops due to the line resistance of long wire runs can be virtually eliminated.

To determine the correct wire gauge, first add up the total amperage required by the components being used. Locate your amperage in the left vertical column of the appropriate chart below. Identify the box to the right of the amperage that matches the maximum distance your wire will run. Finally, move up to the recommended wire size which is located at the top of your cooresponding column.
