At this screen, we have already chosen our lock manufacturer, Schlage. After we select it from the drop-down list (the little button next to the word Schlage), a system is automatically generated for us. You can click on the Regenerate button to generate another system, or click the mouse in one of the boxes to change the top masterkey, key bitting array, or sequence of progression. You can also place an "X" in the key bitting array boxes if you want to omit a deep cut. If you do not want to rotate a chamber, you can place an "X" in the sequence of progression boxes. The Check button allows you to check the system for possible errors, such as MACS violations or a variety of other problems.

This is the level selection screen. You will need to choose the level first. The tabs on the bottom of the screen show possible level selections as Level 2 through Level 6. For our example, we'll use level 3. With level 3, we must now choose which option we would like. Options available are 1 through 4. For our example, we'll use option 2. Double click the mouse in the GMK box of the option 2 column, and our level will be selected.

At the View Bitting List screen, the first page of the system is displayed. Keys are shown in different colors (which can be changed by the user) as to control level. Top & page level masters are shown in dark blue. Horizontal & Vertical group masters are shown in red. Block & Row masters are shown in green, and change keys are shown in yellow. Black keys denote those that violate the MACS or those that have been eliminated from the system by using an "X" in the bitting array. To select keys for the system, simply double-click on each key you wish to include. At the top of the screen is the selection mode button. You can choose manual, where each key can be selected singly, or automatic, where change keys are automatically selected when a master above them is selected. The arrow buttons at the top of the window allow you to page through the system. A tree view of the system is also available by clicking on the tree button at the top of the window.

Once you have selected keys for the system, you can view the keys in the View Selected screen. This screen shows all of the selected keys, and you can add hardware, location, and labeling information. If you have the FRA-2001 Code Machine, you can input the amount of keys you wish to cut for each bitting and have the machine do the work for you! A pin count for the system will tell you the amount of top, bottom, and master pins you will need for the job. You can double click on any key label for a quick & easy way to input information for keys...

By double-clicking on the label of any key, the Key Details window will appear. You can enter information for each key through this window. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the selected keys. If you need to add information to a group of keys, the copy & paste buttons can be used in list view to enter information. Pinning information for each key is also shown.

With TMK Plus™, you can also do any of the following:

Print out a pin count to determine how many of each top, bottom, master & control (if IC) pins you need.
View the system in "tree view".
Export your system to a spreadsheet program to set up customized reports.
Modify user settings to enable more experienced users full access to the program; lock out features for new employees or security risks.
Load your company logo, address & phone number into the program to show up on printouts.
Print out a page view, selected keys list, pinning chart, and key bitting array page.
