300 SERIES ELECTRIC STRIKES
Folger Adam Electric Strikes are known throughout the security
industry for their quality and performance, and are used in commercial
and industrial buildings of all kinds. They are ideal for controlling
access in various parts of a facility. The 300 series is shown on the following page, along with complete information about functions and electrical characteristics. Optional features are also shown for each model. These electric strikes are solenoid actuated, and can be locked or unlocked by remote switches or card-access devices. They are designed to meet BHMA Standard 156.5, Grade 1 requirements. They are also listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc. as burglary-protection devices. Some models with non-failsafe operation, (310-2, 310-2 3/4, 310-2 3/4U, 310-3 and 310-4) are also UL listed as fire-door accessories, with Class A, 3-hour rating. (The fail-safe feature is not permitted in electric strikes which are to be used on UL-labeled fire doors.)

Folger Adam 600 Series Electric Strikes are ideal for retrofit or new applications. They offer simple frame preparation, easy installation, and wide adaptability to industry locking hardware. Features and Benefits: * Side load pressures can be caused by weather stripping, air pressure, wind, poor door/frame alignment or pull on door knob/lever prior to activation.
Basic models of the 700 series are shown on the following pages, along with complete information about their functions and electrical characteristics. Optional features are also shown for each model, which make them adaptable to a wide variety of security requirements. The choice of some optional features, however, may increase the normal manufacturing lead-time.
