Folger Adam

Folger Adam Electric Strikes are known throughout the security industry for their quality and performance, and are used in commercial and industrial buildings of all kinds. They are ideal for controlling access in various parts of a facility.

The 300 series is shown on the following page, along with complete information about functions and electrical characteristics. Optional features are also shown for each model.

These electric strikes are solenoid actuated, and can be locked or unlocked by remote switches or card-access devices. They are designed to meet BHMA Standard 156.5, Grade 1 requirements. They are also listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc. as burglary-protection devices. Some models with non-failsafe operation, (310-2, 310-2 3/4, 310-2 3/4U, 310-3 and 310-4) are also UL listed as fire-door accessories, with Class A, 3-hour rating. (The fail-safe feature is not permitted in electric strikes which are to be used on UL-labeled fire doors.)

The Folger Adam 200 Series Electric Strike has been engineered and designed for use with bored locks and mortise locks with a 1/2" throw latchbolt.

600 SERIES ELECTRIC STRIKES

Folger Adam 600 Series Electric Strikes are ideal for retrofit or new applications. They offer simple frame preparation, easy installation, and wide adaptability to industry locking hardware.

• Fits ANSI A115.1 prep with simple modification to the face of the frame.
• Fits narrow 1 3/4" jambs. Hollow metal or aluminum tube.
• Non-handed with interchangeable faceplates to suit numerous installations and industry locksets.
• Non fail safe model releases door with a minimum side load pressure of 20 lbs. *

* Side load pressures can be caused by weather stripping, air pressure, wind, poor door/frame alignment or pull on door knob/lever prior to activation.

700 SERIES ELECTRIC STRIKES

Basic models of the 700 series are shown on the following pages, along with complete information about their functions and electrical characteristics. Optional features are also shown for each model, which make them adaptable to a wide variety of security requirements. The choice of some optional features, however, may increase the normal manufacturing lead-time.

They are designed to meet BHMA Standard 156.5, Grade 1 requirements. They are also listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc. as burglary-protection devices. Models 712 and 732, with non-fail-safe operation, are also listed as fire-door accessories with Class A, 3-hour rating. (The fail-safe feature is not permitted in electric strikes which are to be used on UL-labeled fire doors.)
